The great thing is, when we got all those effects done, we have a
great set about SciFi light effects. This could probably be an extra
article in this forum.
With The Orville, I really like the feeling of Star Trek with a good portion of humor.
Yes,
those “hot topics” feel kinda artificial. Like they made a scene just
to show everyone “we agree” or “we disagree” with social or political
trends. The “old” Star Trek made this much more clever and integrated in
their show. And it was never like “you have to behave like this”, it
was always in way to make yourself think about it.
I will see what I can do about Amazon Prime, just to watch Picard
